- Design and conceptualize: Create visual concepts and layouts for a wide range of projects, from social media posts to full marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate: Work with clients, copywriters, marketers, and other team members to understand their needs and translate them into visual designs.
- Develop brand identity: Ensure brand consistency across all materials, which includes creating and updating brand guidelines for logos, fonts, and colors.
- Create final assets: Prepare final, high-quality files for both print (like brochures and posters) and digital use (like websites and social media).
- Stay current: Research and implement current design trends and keep up-to-date with new software and technology.
Essential skills and tools
- Software proficiency: Mastery of design software is crucial, with the Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) being a common requirement. Figma is also frequently used.
- Artistic skills: A strong understanding of visual elements like color, typography, and composition is necessary.
