About Denver Modern:

We are a growing online furniture brand, founded by a husband-and-wife team. Denver Modern was created to showcase a Denver-inspired design aesthetic that is uniquely ours: modern, simple, timeless, comfortable. We sell direct-to-consumers online, nationally, and also work with hospitality & workplace customers. Our Northfield location includes a showroom, corporate office and warehouse. We are looking to add a team member to our entrepreneurial, collaborative, positive, and fun team.

Position Summary:

Denver Modern seeks a motivated Graphic Designer to join our team on a full-time basis in our Denver, CO headquarters. This role will report to the Art Director and work collaboratively to bring our content vision to life influencing strategy and delivering beautiful, brand-appropriate deliverables. Key Responsibilities of the Role:

●  Support the Art Director in the seamless execution of cohesive and high-performing creative across all channels, including website, email, paid media, organic social, and print materials, ensuring alignment with brand standards and campaign objectives.​

● Translate business and creative briefs into visually engaging concepts—balancing brand storytelling with data-informed adjustments based on performance insights.​

● Design and produce digital marketing assets such as banners, product imagery, emails, social posts, and display ads that drive engagement, showcase product craftsmanship, and enhance conversion performance.​

● Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and agency teams to adapt creative for multiple audiences and channels, maintaining consistency in tone, color, and visual hierarchy.​

● Assist in post-production editing and retouching of product imagery and video content to ensure premium quality across digital touchpoints.​

● Manage and organize creative files and digital assets, ensuring all deliverables meet specifications, are correctly versioned, and ready for developer or marketing use.​

  • Ideal candidate is skilled in AI image generation with hands-on experience in generative AI tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Adobe Sensei, Sora2 etc.) and new approaches to content creation.
  • Partner with the Web team to design website elements, landing pages, and promotional layouts optimized for UX/UI best practices, blending aesthetics with functionality to improve the customer journey:
  • Design and refine website layouts and landing pages ensuring seamless, intuitive, and visually compelling digital experiences
  • Apply user-centered design principles to improve usability, accessibility, and conversion rates on the Denver Modern website
  • Proven experience designing for ecommerce websites and optimizing digital user experiences (UI/UX); portfolio demonstrating e-commerce projects preferred.
  • Familiarity with wireframing, prototyping, and web design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch), and understanding of web accessibility standards.
  • Collaborate with ecommerce and marketing team members to analyze website performance and test/ evolve the creative experience to improve results. 
  • Stay current with design trends, DTC marketing strategies, and e-commerce best practices to contribute fresh, relevant ideas that support growth and creative innovation.
  • Bring an agile, solution-oriented mindset, balancing creative detail with speed to meet tight deadlines in a fast-scaling environment.
  • Understands the nuances of each marketing channel, sales channel (DTC and B2B) and customer segment in order to align content needs for each purpose.
  • Upholds the highest quality brand standards, conducting thorough checks on all creative deliverables.
  • Organized and detail-oriented; responsible for maintaining current, organized digital assets.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive efficiency in order to support scale of business.

Keys to Success:

●  3-5 years of experience in graphic design for omni channel brands, ideally with both DTC and B2B channel understanding

·  The ideal candidate is an interior design and image generation expert with experience using 3D rendering tools to create lifestyle images of furniture and interiors using AI tools such as Nano Banana Pro and Presti.

●  Strong understanding of color theory, typography, visual composition

●  Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite ( Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom ) and AI tools

●  Familiarity with Canva, Adobe After Effects, & Google Suite a plus

●  Experience with results-driven ecommerce specialty retail brands in furniture space or luxury brand, preferred

●  Highly organized and proactive doer, with the ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time and deliver within deadlines

●  Flexible; able to support and execute a vision outside of one’s own style

●  Excellent communication skills; able to thrive in a nimble, entrepreneurial environment

●  Strategic mindset coupled with ability to execute; self-directed

●  Detail-oriented

●  Curious; stays abreast on the latest trends in digital ads design and technologies

●  In-person, local to Denver, CO area

●  Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree

  • A portfolio demonstrating relevant e-commerce and website experience will be required during the interview process.
