Openings: 2–4 Location: Vadodara Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 0–1 year (freshers with good portfolios encouraged to apply) About Codetta: Codetta provides specialised artwork, design, and pre-press production support to commercial printers, publishers, and creative agencies across the UK. Our expertise spans artworking, workflow automation, file optimisation, and print-ready design for menus, brochures, magazines, and other marketing materials—helping clients achieve consistent, high-quality output. Led directly by the Founder, Codetta is now strengthening its team and looking for core members who will contribute to its continued growth and expanding client demand. Role Overview: This role involves production-focused design work, where accuracy, file readiness, and structural layout execution are central. You will work on real artwork, supporting print workflows, editing existing layouts, and preparing files for seamless production output. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret design briefs from customer service and convert them into clean, print-ready artwork - Create, update & adapt designs across formats — menus, brochures, packaging, display graphics, social media, etc. - Prepare production-ready files with accurate bleeds, trims, resolution & CMYK colour profiles - Make required text/image edits and resolve pre-press issues (fonts, links, overprint, transparency) - Versioning, resizing & layout modifications for multiple sizes and outputs - Maintain organised folders, assets & version-controlled files for easy access - Coordinate for approvals, proofing & QC checks - Support workflow optimisation & automation — data merge, scripts, batch processing

Skills & Qualification required: - Proficient in InDesign; working skills in Illustrator & Photoshop - Strong foundation in typography, layout & visual hierarchy - Basic print knowledge (or eagerness to learn) - Quick learner with ability to take & implement feedback - Detail-oriented with strong time management skills - Graphic Design/Visual Arts degree or equivalent qualification Nice to Have (Training Provided): - Basic print production knowledge - Experience with templates & data-driven layout design - Familiarity with PDFs for print, imposition, finishing options Why join us? - On-the-job learning in print + automated design workflows - Real-world exposure to a variety of commercial artwork - Mentorship from skilled artworkers & automation experts - Growth-focused, structured, collaborative work environment
