Graphic Designer

Full-Time Production Graphic Designer

Are you a highly organized, autonomous designer skilled in pre-press and production for large-format media? Join our fast-paced sign production team! We are looking for an individual who enjoys problem-solving, continuous learning, and client consultation. You will manage the entire design and production process for customer signage, from initial file setup to final substrate application. This role requires technical skill in graphic design and hands-on participation in production tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Pre-Press: Create, modify, and optimize customer files for full-color or vinyl output using Adobe Illustrator. Determine layout, material selection, and output settings for production efficiency. Maintain the customer logo library.
• Production & Quality Assurance: Operate and maintain large-format printers. Perform hands-on production tasks, including preparing substrates (cutting, laminating, cleaning), weeding vinyl, and applying graphics/vinyl to various media.
• Quality Control: Rigorously proof jobs against work orders to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and quality are met before and after production.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Graphic Design experience (preferably in the Sign Industry).
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is essential.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work autonomously in a high-volume environment.
• A strong ability to work under pressure to produce high-quality output.
• Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods.
