Graphic Designer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphics Designer to join our production and graphics team. The ideal candidate should have strong design skills, basic animation knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing graphics for our daily news bulletins, special shows, digital platforms, and promotional content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality graphics, lower-thirds, logos, and templates for live news, shows, and programs.
• Work closely with Output Producers, Anchors, and the Editorial team to understand visual requirements.
• Develop social media creatives for Digital and Web platforms.
• Assist in video editing and basic motion graphics when needed.
• Maintain consistency in design style and branding guidelines.
• Support senior designers with ongoing visual design tasks.
• Ensure timely delivery of graphics during live and breaking news scenarios.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred).
• 0–2 years of experience in a news channel or media industry (freshers with strong portfolios can apply).
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver quick turnarounds during breaking news.
• Creative mindset with a strong attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of 2D/3D motion graphics is an added advantage.
