Job Title: Graphics Designer – Packaging and Box Design

Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphics Designer to join our team, specializing in designing custom packaging and box solutions. The ideal candidate will blend aesthetic creativity with functionality, ensuring that designs not only look visually appealing but also align with structural and branding requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualization & Design:
• Create visually compelling and brand-aligned packaging designs, including boxes, labels, and other materials.
• Develop prototypes and mockups for packaging designs.
• Structural Integration:
• Collaborate with engineers or production teams to ensure designs are functional and manufacturable.
• Consider box structures, dimensions, and die-line requirements in designs.
• Brand Collaboration:
• Work closely with marketing and branding teams to align packaging design with brand identity.
• Interpret client briefs and deliver custom packaging solutions that meet their needs.
• Prepress Preparation:
• Prepare print-ready files, ensuring all technical specifications such as color profiles, bleed, and resolution are met.
• Review and adjust die-line templates to ensure design accuracy.
• Trend Analysis:
• Stay updated on the latest packaging trends, materials, and sustainability practices.
• Incorporate innovative design techniques and materials into packaging concepts.
• Software Proficiency:
• Utilize design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or CAD software for packaging design.
• Maintain organized files and adhere to company naming and archiving conventions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in packaging or box design (portfolio required).
• Strong understanding of branding principles, materials, and print production processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teams and clients.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of eco-friendly packaging trends and materials.
• Experience with 3D modeling software such as Blender or SolidWorks.
• Understanding of consumer psychology and how design influences purchasing decisions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
