Summary
Breck is seeking Graphic Designers, preferably with experience in photography/videography, video/animation work, or layout/general graphic design. This is a potential position. This will be a Part-time, remote role. This position will be in service to a federal client of Breck’s and candidate will be required to be able to pass DHS Public Trust background check.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work closely with the Project Manager and Creative Director to take projects from ideation and concept to completion
· Effectively communicate with client and Project Manager through all phases to realize design vision and modify output as necessary based on feedback
· Provide graphic design support services to assist Federal personnel in developing and presenting information on cross-organization initiatives and programs in a manner that reinforces the agency style standards and adheres to design and accessibility best practices and legal requirements
· Create graphics, icons and other illustration material, digitally optimized and ready for the web and print use
· Brand Style Guide development and implementation – including logos, photos, video, etc.
· Create or refreshing templates for standard products such as fact sheets, brochures, flyers and reports
· Create infographics to visually depict program information for the intended audience
· Assist with photography and videography requests by the client for onsite events, interviews, etc.
· Provide design services for agency booths, displays, banners or exhibits, to include updating booth graphics as needed
· Develop and produce promotional, educational, communications, marketing and implementation materials and tools including: Print and web-based content, graphics, brochures, fact sheets, posters, program documents, program logos, presentations, partner templates, reports, booth materials, promotional materials, banners, displays, booths, kiosks, multimedia products, video, audio, and web-based materials.
· Ensure all graphics and products created are 508 compliant
· Fulfill design requests while adhering to project timeline
· Maintain an updated knowledge of new design techniques and trends
· Develop and maintain branding perspective that varies by client
· Create visually appealing graphics that expertly convey content and message
· Research of current marketing trends, environment, and practices
· Flexibility to adapt to changes and address challenges during the design process.
· Show ability to propose and develop internal changes deemed necessary if challenges or problems occur
REQUIRED
· Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Graphic Design
· Minimum of 3 years of experiencing in design and development of posters, exhibits, publications, photos, graphic designs, brochures, reports, and other outreach materials
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and developing presentations, partner templates, kiosks, speeches, and fact sheets
· Fluency in software, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Experience Design, After Effects, Premiere Pro, XD, Lightroom, Spark, and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
· Extensive experience in use of design software as well as web, multimedia, and video tools
· Familiarity with image manipulation and desktop layout
· Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
· Strong interpersonal communicator through in-person, verbal, and written communication
· Able to receive and follow through on feedback and direction
· Goal-driven, accountable, and able to work within deadlines
· Resourceful multi-tasker
· Conceptual thinker with strong analytic skills
· Strong work ethic

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
