Graphic Designer

Job description:

Contempo is seeking a creative and talented Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling and a keen eye for design aesthetics. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects in marketing and sports design, including work for the Cleveland Guardians. Projects will include creating social media graphics, HTML 5 banner ads, print materials, illustrations, logo design, website graphics and as well as designs for environmental spaces To be successful, the Graphic Designer should be proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a team player with a positive attitude, and have experience executing design projects from conception to production.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of graphic design experience
• Strong Portfolio of work that displays polished designs and the ability to turn an idea/concept into a visual piece
• Experience with logo and brand development and design, marketing materials, digital and print design
• Must be proficient in Adobe CS (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
• Must be able to adapt and pick up new design software quickly
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while taking direction and feedback to adhere to standards and branding for Contempo and its clients
• Creative mind, talent, and willingness to think outside the box and bring new ideas to the table
• Illustration and HTML 5 experience is a plus
• Sports Design experience is a plus
