Job Title: Student Service Officer

Job Overview:

Experience: 2+ Years

Qualification: Bachelors/Masters

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive support and guidance to students, addressing their academic, personal, and administrative needs.

2. Assist in resolving student queries, concerns, and issues by providing accurate information and appropriate solutions.

3. Organize and participate in orientation programs to help new students acclimate to the campus environment and its resources.

4. Collaborate with academic advisors to help students understand degree requirements, course sequencing, and academic planning.

5. Maintain accurate student records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant policies.

6. Serve as a liaison between students and various departments, advocating for student needs and representing their interests.

7. Organize workshops, seminars, and events focused on student success, personal development, and career readiness.

8. Stay informed about institutional policies, regulations, and compliance requirements related to student services.

9. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other departments to enhance student experiences and streamline processes.

10. Gather feedback from students regarding their experiences and use this information to improve services and programs.

11. Maintain regular communication with students through various channels, including emails, newsletters, and social media.

12. Organize and participate in campus events, workshops, and activities to enhance student engagement and community building.

Required skills, abilities and knowledge:

1. Prioritizing students as primary contacts and addressing their needs accordingly.

2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

3. Knowledge of student administration processes and degree structures.

4. Knowledge of Student Administration and System’s functions and structure, policies, processes and procedures.

5. Evaluating information and data to solve problems and make decisions.

6. Ensuring accuracy and quality when completing tasks.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus one year’s related experience in an educational setting.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹9,837.06 - ₹31,222.25 per month
