ABOUT THE ROLE:
This position is responsible for creating graphics, packaging, and other marketing materials for a national cannabis company. You will work directly with the marketing team and other designers to create content for our retail and wholesale brands. This position requires proficient working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and other Adobe Suite programs. We value designers who pair strong creative fundamentals with modern production workflows (e.g., Canva and responsible AI-assisted tools) to improve speed, consistency, and quality.
Duties/Responsibilities

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and respect for individuals.

Communicate effectively with the Marketing team to meet deadlines and create content.

Follow systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals.

Work on multiple projects at once and consistently meet draft deadlines.

Perform all graphic design job orders according to needs of our stores and wholesale teams.

Create print-ready files using Adobe Creative Suites. This includes editing existing files, and re-creating files from a hard copy to full scale design work.

Use Canva and shared template systems to support fast-turn retail/wholesale needs while maintaining brand standards.

Leverage approved AI-assisted tools to accelerate production tasks (e.g., ideation, content variations, resizing, versioning, background cleanup), while ensuring all final work meets brand quality, originality, and compliance requirements.

Use no-code tools to assist in producing email marketing, web page design, etc.

Operate printers, scanners, and other computer hardware used in the design and production process.

Provide proofs and see that proof deadlines are met, following up on proofs periodically throughout the week.

Maintain a clean and well-organized electronic filing system.

Receive and manipulate files electronically.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Must Haves
Education and Experience:
-
To remain compliant with state law, you must be 21 years of age or older.

Two (2) years of Graphic Design experience.
Skills/Abilities:

Proficient working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and other Adobe Suite programs.

Experience building scalable creative systems (templates, libraries, design tokens, versioning, and production checklists).

Cannabis knowledge and understanding of cannabis products preferred.

Salary: $40,000 annually.
