Role Summary:

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Marketing team. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for design, a foundational understanding of branding, and a passion for visual storytelling, preferably with an interest in the healthcare sector. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating compelling visual content across various platforms to enhance our hospital's communication and engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Production: Conceptualize, design, and produce high-quality graphics for digital and print channels, including:
• Social media posts and campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Website banners, icons, and visuals
• Marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, posters)
• Presentations
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Social Media Marketing team to brainstorm ideas, develop creative concepts, and ensure designs effectively support campaign goals and communication objectives.
• Brand Consistency: Uphold MidCiti Hospital's brand identity by ensuring all visual materials strictly adhere to established brand guidelines (logos, color palettes, typography).
• Asset Management: Organize, manage, and maintain a digital library of graphic design assets, including logos, photos, templates, and completed projects.
• Trend Awareness: Stay updated on current design trends, social media best practices, and advancements in design software and technologies.
• Quality Control: Review and proof designs for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications before publication or production.
• Adaptability: Translate complex healthcare information or hospital services into clear, engaging, and accessible visuals for diverse audiences.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a closely related field is required.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 year of professional graphic design experience, demonstrated through a strong portfolio. Experience within the healthcare industry or designing for service-oriented organizations is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing a range of design work (digital and print) is essential for consideration. Please provide a link or PDF attachment with your application.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is mandatory. Familiarity with video editing software or web design tools is a bonus.
• Design Principles: Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Creativity & Problem Solving: Ability to generate fresh ideas and translate requirements into effective visual solutions.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to design execution and proofing.
• Collaboration: Strong teamwork ethic and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Communication: Excellent 1 verbal and written communication skills.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
