Graphic Designer

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Commercial print shop with locations in Coal City, IL has an immediate opening for a full time, production oriented, graphic designer/ Office Manager who will be trained to fill role in Morris IL

Primary Requirements:

• Cross-platform computer experience (Windows and Mac OSX)
• Production expertise with the latest graphics programs, including: Adobe InDesign CC, Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe Photoshop CC and Acrobat Pro.
• Experience troubleshooting digital files for transparency, overprint and separation issues
• Experience with pre-flighting, imposition, scanning, font management, computer maintenance and backups
• The ability to consistently output to a variety of digital devices, including: digital copiers, color laser printers and plate setters
• Experience with Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher) is a plus.
• Familiarity with variable data concepts and production is a plus

The candidate must also be able to work well with both external and internal customers while meeting or exceeding quality expectations and production deadlines, by running machines and helping finish printed work.

Previous experience in either offset or digital printing business preferred.

Starting pay $16 an hour and up based on experience, possible benefits as well.
