Job Summary
The Graphic Designer contributes to the brand strength and storytelling of Children’s Miracle Network by creating high-quality visual designs from concept through final delivery. This role creates engaging assets across digital, print, social, event, and promotional channels while supporting a high volume of projects, often under tight deadlines. The Graphic Designer works closely with project managers, marketing partners, writers, designers, and program teams to deliver creative work that aligns with CMN’s design systems, style guides, brand standards, and fundraising goals.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, visual communication, advertising or a related field.
Experience:
2-4 years of relevant professional experience in graphic design, advertising, a creative agency, marketing agency, nonprofit, or related environment.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Working knowledge of Canva and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Proficiency with InDesign style sheets, master pages, page templates, picture import, image sizing, and production layout.
Proficiency on a Mac platform.
Experience with project management tools, such as Asana, and proofing tools, such as Lytho or PageProof.
Strong knowledge of typography, photography, illustration, color, layout, and design principles.
Strong portfolio of digital and print work required.
Experience with photo editing, retouching, image preparation, and file preparation for print and digital distribution.
Familiarity with visual AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, and/or other large language models.
Ability to communicate clearly, stay organized, solve problems, manage details, and balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback from peers, creative team members, and internal clients.
Strong interpersonal skills with an open, friendly, supportive, and collaborative attitude.
Reliable, proactive, trustworthy, and committed to excellence in every aspect of work.
Web design and functionality experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
Experience:
Experience in a nonprofit, fundraising, agency, or mission-driven creative environment.
Experience supporting event, campaign, social, and partner-facing creative materials.
Familiarity with CMN brand voice, visual identity, and storytelling style.

Location Requirement:
This role is based in Utah. Candidates must reside in Utah and be able to commute to our Salt Lake City headquarters 2–3 days per week.
