Key Responsibilities
- Design promotional posters, exam detail creatives, course/batch banners, and other marketing collaterals for print and digital.
- Create Instagram carousels, reels graphics, thumbnails, and other social-first creatives aligned with afdindia’s brand and student audience.
- Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos (reels, shorts) and long-form YouTube videos, including basic lighting, framing, and audio capture.
- Edit and package pre-recorded video courses: structuring lessons, adding graphics, lower thirds, captions, and screen recordings suitable for sale.
- Use AI tools (e.g., Runway, Descript, auto-caption tools, thumbnail generators) to speed up editing, repurposing, captioning, and asset creation.
- Collaborate with the founder/marketing team to brainstorm content ideas, hooks, and visual concepts for campaigns and launches.
- Maintain an organized library of design and video assets, templates, and project files for quick reuse and scaling.
- Track performance of creatives (views, clicks, watch time) and iterate on design and editing style to improve results.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong portfolio of posters, social media creatives, and video edits (links to Behance/Dribbble/Instagram/YouTube required).
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or equivalent like Figma/Canva) and at least one NLE (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut).
- Basic video production skills: camera operation (mirrorless/DSLR or phone), framing, basic lighting, and audio recording.
- Hands-on experience with at least a few AI tools for video or design: Descript, Runway, auto-captions, AI B-roll, AI image generation, or similar.
- Good sense of typography, layout, color, pacing, and storytelling for students (Class 11–12, design aspirants).
- Comfortable working with content calendars, deadlines, and fast iterations for social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube.
- Strong ownership mindset: you proactively suggest ideas, improve workflows, and don’t wait to be micromanaged.
