Graphic Designer and Print Technician AD

The graphic designer in a print environment is expected to work on multiple projects at one time, both creative and technical. Graphic design is only one component of this position. You will also be required to know or learn about the printing process, how to preflight and troubleshoot client supplied files, prepare files to print on the digital press, and know or learn all of the technical aspects of prepress workflow.

Qualifications and experience:

-2-3 years of graphic design or print production experience

-Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop-Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Able to work independently

-Able to work on multiple projects

-Able to handle tight deadlines and fast-paced environment

-Have a strong attention to detail

-Able to take notes and retain information

-Able to work with clients and communicate clearly and professionally

-Variable data experience a plus

Others:

Willing to work overtime as needed
