Graphic Designer - Book cover

• Conceptualize and execute design for approximately 84 (+12) titles a year with guidance from Art Director and Publisher.
• Work collaboratively with members of the Design and Editorial teams on the development of the book from concept to finish.
• Keep projects on a timely schedule and keep supervisor in the loop on projects.
• Design covers for your assigned projects.
• Color correct with production when possible.
• Archive all projects on time and be aware of production status.
• Provide design support to supervisors, as needed.
• Provide general assistance on special projects, as needed.
• Minimum 2-3 years of design experience preferred
• Book cover design experience strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of production process, color correction of proofs, timely routing of materials
• Pre-press experience preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to set priorities under pressure
• Strong Mac skills and design skills using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
• A strong interest in books
• College degree or equivalent work experience in Graphic Design, Typography, and/or Illustration preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,362.70 - ₹35,318.58 per month
