Graphic Designer cum Videographer

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media.

What is the role of a Graphic Designer?

The Graphic Designer job description includes visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, layouts, and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, social media collaterals, flyers, and brochures.

Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.

Responsibilities

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, and other designs
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Requirements and Skills

• Proven graphic designing experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus

What is the role of a Videographer?

We are seeking a creative and skilled Videographer & Video Editor to plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for our educational group. The role focuses on producing engaging videos for academic programs, events, promotions, social media, and internal communications that align with our brand and educational mission.

Responsibilities

Videography

• Plan, shoot, and record videos for academic activities, events, workshops, seminars, student testimonials, and promotional campaigns.
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, microphones, and other production equipment.
• Ensure high-quality visuals and audio during indoor and outdoor shoots.

Video Editing

• Edit raw footage into compelling, polished videos suitable for digital platforms, websites, and presentations.
• Add graphics, subtitles, animations, transitions, music, and branding elements as required.
• Optimize videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, website, LMS).

Content Development

• Collaborate with academic, marketing, and admissions teams to understand content requirements.
• Assist in scripting, storyboarding, and conceptualizing video ideas.
• Maintain consistency with the institution’s brand guidelines and tone.

Asset Management

• Organize, store, and maintain video files, raw footage, and edited content.
• Maintain and care for video equipment and accessories.

Requirements and Skills

• Proven experience as a Videographer and/or Video Editor (portfolio required).
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong knowledge of camera operations, lighting, framing, and sound recording.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and color correction.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film Making, Graphic Designing, Media Production, Visual Communication, Mass Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
