Graphic Designer -Custom Printing Projects

Horizon Tech is looking for a Graphic Designer to create visually appealing product designs and templates for a start-up printing business specializing in signs, packaging, and promotional materials. This role involves both creative design and prepress preparation for print.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design product layouts and templates for websites and e-commerce stores.
• Develop customizable design templates (e.g., boxes, bags, flyers, mailers, envelopes).
• Prepare press-ready files and ensure all artwork meets print standards.
• Use Adobe Illustrator for print design, cutting, and creasing layout preparation.
• Communicate with the client on daily basis (morning and evening Pacific Time).
• Review and adjust customer-submitted artwork for print compatibility (prepress).
• Coordinate with trade printers and upload final print files as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio in graphic design, preferably in printing and packaging.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator (mandatory).
• Knowledge of print file preparation, cutting, and creasing layouts.
• Experience with tools like PitStop Pro (preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and file organization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed specifications.

• Job Location: Shaheed-E-Millat Road, off to Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi.
• Job Timings: Onsite, evening/night shift (Part-Time).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month

Experience:

• expert proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign: 2 years (Required)
• digital and print design: 2 years (Required)
• graphic design, preferably in printing and packaging: 2 years (Required)
