Graphic Artist / Engraving Technician – Award and Trophy Manufacturer/Retailer

Well respected Award and Trophy Manufacturer/Retailer, in business for more than 40 years, seeks experienced professional to join the Team! This position is a full-time, hourly Graphic Artist / Engraving Technician opportunity, reporting directly to the CEO / Owner.

Position Location: Sarasota, Florida

Graphic Artist/Laser engraver - Candidate MUST possess the following:

- Proficient In:

CorelDraw X8 - training will be provided if proficient in one of the following:

- Adobe Illustrator

- Adobe Photoshop

- Experience In: Digital Printing, Laser Engraving, Digital Cutting, or related field.

- Strong interpersonal skills – Customer Service, working well with other Team members, etc.

- A desire to learn and grow

- A positive attitude

Activities Include:

- Layout and design for laser engraving, dye sublimation and direct color print

- Operate and maintain laser engraving machine and direct color printer

- Mount various unique items supplied by customers for awards

- Use of glues, epoxy and paint

- Assemble finished plaques and acrylic awards - Use of metal sheer, punches & drills

- Process and print sublimation including plaques and nametags

- Answer and field phone calls as needed

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in laser engraving areas

Additional Skills Desired:

- Experience with Trophies/Awards/Recognition retail a HUGE plus.

- Experience with Retail POS systems a plus

- Experience with production scheduling/management a plus
