Graphic Designer/ Estimate Writer

Utopian Events is a fast-growing, design-focused company with a reputation for excellence and a team of long-term employees (7–15+ years).

We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer / Estimate Writer who combines strong visual creativity with the ability to produce accurate project proposals. This role is ideal for someone who understands and appreciates event and floral design and is ready to contribute meaningfully to a collaborative and high-performing team.

Position Overview:

This Dual role requires very strong xxperience creating structures in Adobe Illustrator, Canva Design boards and Estimates in Quick Books.

You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality 3D visualizations, mood boards, and detailed event estimates. You must be able to manage multiple projects, communicate effectively, and deliver on tight timelines with precision and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be fast and proficient in creating live structures in Adobe Illustrator. All structures must be designed with real dimensions in inches for laser cutting and on-site construction
• Create realistic 3D renderings and design boards using SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva
• Prepare accurate and detailed project estimates using QuickBooksCollaborate with the sales and design team to bring event concepts to life
• Develop and refine visual content based on feedback and project requirementsStay current on design software and industry trends
• Provide pricing guidance for floral and event designsSupport additional design and admin tasks as needed
• Must provide a personal portfolio that includes graphically designed structures in Adobe Illustrator Designs, showcasing your creative innovation style to be Seriously considered. NO exceptions.

Qualifications:

• Strongly Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and SketchUp
• Working knowledge of Canva, QuickBooks, and rendering tools
• Experience in the wedding or event industry is a plusKnowledge of Procreate is a bonus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivatedExcellent time management and ability to work independently
• Comfortable with extended computer work
• Knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel
