About Still Austin Whiskey Co

Still Austin Whiskey Co. is the first true grain-to-glass distillery in Austin since Prohibition and one of the fastest-growing craft whiskey brands in the country. Founded in 2014 by father-and-son team Cleveland and Chris Seals, we’ve become nationally recognized for our award-winning bourbon and rye — distilled in-house from Texas-grown grains and shaped by the intensity of our Texas climate.

Led by Master Blender Nancy Fraley and Master Distiller John Schrepel, we pioneered the use of slow water reduction in bourbon, bringing new depth, maturity, and character to our whiskeys. Our bottles are as distinctive as our spirits, featuring custom label art by world-renowned artist Marc Burckhardt — a tribute to Austin’s creativity and the craft behind every drop.

Now, we’re expanding our footprint with an ambitious new hospitality campus in South Austin — including a full-service restaurant, an atrium welcome center, a lounge and café, and a versatile event space designed to bring people together. It’s an exciting moment to join Still Austin as we build a world-class guest experience.

About the Role

The Graphic Designer for the Hospitality Division is a creative lead responsible for developing original concepts, visual identities, and design systems that shape the guest experience across the Tasting Room and Still Austin Quarter. This role is deeply rooted in creative invention, artistic expression, and the ability to translate brand strategy into distinctive, premium visual storytelling. Success in this role looks like breakthrough creative work, elevated hospitality experiences, and inventive design solutions that expand the Still Austin brand in meaningful, memorable ways.

What You'll Do

  • Create original visual concepts that define the hospitality aesthetic and shape the onsite brand experience.
  • Design unique artwork, illustrations, and environmental graphics that bring Still Austin’s personality to life.
  • Develop and evolve creative design systems that influence storytelling, space design, signage, menus, and onsite activations.
  • Exercise a high degree of creative discretion and artistic judgment across all visual touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with Hospitality, Creative, and Marketing teams to conceptualize campaigns, brand moments, and guest-facing experiences.
  • Balance conceptual design with hands-on execution, ensuring the creative vision carries through from idea to final output.
  • Generate new ideas that push boundaries, enhance guest engagement, and enrich the hospitality environment.
  • Lead the creative concepting and visual development for menus, signage, environmental branding, wayfinding, merchandise artwork, and hospitality campaigns.
  • Create original graphic elements, including custom illustrations, textures, patterns, icons, and branded imagery.
  • Design integrated design systems that maintain coherence while enabling fresh storytelling across physical and digital platforms.
  • Produce creative assets for onsite screens, digital menus, web pages, events, campaigns, and social content.
  • Independently develop creative briefs, mood boards, and visual direction to align partners around a unified design vision.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to conceptualize and design guest experience moments, seasonal activations, and signature brand elements.
  • Direct creative execution through final delivery, ensuring that design intent is preserved in print, fabrication, and digital environments.
  • Apply advanced artistic judgment to elevate typography, color, composition, and spatial design across all materials.
