Momenta is a leading designer and distributor of arts and crafts products for some of the nation’s largest retailers. Based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, we create products that inspire imagination, encourage self-expression, and provide a creative outlet for consumers of all ages.

We are looking for a talented, highly organized, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our in-house Creative Design team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing thoughtful, trend-right products and packaging and working closely with Product Development and Sales to bring ideas to life.

Position Summary

The Graphic Designer works as part of the in-house design team and collaborates closely with the Sales and Product Development departments to design successful, high-quality craft, art, and kids’ products and packaging that meet consumer needs and company goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Design Team, Product Development, and Sales to conceptualize and design new craft, art, and kids’ products
• Design packaging that is visually compelling, functional, and aligned with current trends in color, typography, and imagery
• Prepare product and packaging files for factory production
• Partner with Product Development to help source quality contents and materials for use in products
• Create digital facades of new product concepts for marketing and presentation purposes
• Assist in producing physical mockups and product samples
• Use market research and trend awareness to inform product and packaging design
• Support the creation of sales decks and presentation materials in Google Workspace
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Strong skills in layout, typography, color, and visual composition
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate clearly
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing production-ready files
• Experience using AI tools in design workflows is a plus

Work Environment

This is a full-time, exempt position based in Portsmouth, NH. The role operates in a hybrid work environment, combining remote work and in-office collaboration based on business needs. The position involves regular computer-based design work, cross-functional teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
