Graphic Designer - Junior

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for assisting with various design projects and collaborating with the design team to create visually appealing and engaging graphics.

Responsibilities include:
· Designing and physically creating signage within the brand guidelines (training on the actual process of making the signage and using the large format printer and plotter would be provided)
· Modifying or revising existing art to be proofed for internal and external clients
· Preparing separations for screen printing
· Occasionally designing vector art for production
· Designing and/or preparing art for and operating a laser engraving machine (training on using the machine and software would be provided)
· Communicating design specifications with outside printers or manufacturers.
· Making minor updates to our website, which is on the Shopify Platform or to create graphics for social media platforms.
· Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:
- Proficient in Adobe, and other graphic design software
- Strong understanding of visual design principles and techniques
- Familiarity with digital art creation and manipulation techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- A portfolio showcasing previous graphic design work is required

This is a paid position. We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
