Graphic Designer (Mid-Level)

Job Summary

Archetype is looking for a strong mid-level Graphic Designer to support brand‑aligned print and packaging work for our clients. You’ll collaborate closely with our Creative Director on various commercial and fine print projects and packaging systems and brand development for high‑end clients with a goal of translating strategy into thoughtful, production‑ready design.What you’ll doDesign and produce print assets and packaging materials that align with established brand standards and guidelines.Develop and refine visual identities, including logos, typography, and brand systems for premium clients.Prepare, preflight, and set up files for print, ensuring accuracy, color consistency, and production‑ready output.Manage multiple projects at once, hitting deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.What you bring3–5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in packaging, brand, or print/production environments.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.Hands‑on experience with preflight, prepress, and print production workflows (bleeds, dielines, color profiles, imposition, proofing, etc.).Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to design with clean typography, layout, packaging, and brand‑consistent work across various print applications.Comfortable collaborating with a small, nimble team, taking feedback, and communicating clearly about scope, timing, and tradeoffs.Additional experience in digital design is a plus— including websites, ui/ux, social media, etc.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
