Job Title: Graphic Designer (Part-Time | 15 Hours/Week)

Location:
Nashville, TN (Hybrid)

Company:
Cumberland Hospitality Group (Scoreboard, The Nashville Palace, Bootleggers Inn, Doc Holliday’s & More)

About Us:

Cumberland Hospitality Group owns and operates some of Nashville’s most recognizable bars, restaurants, and live music venues. From high-energy sports bars to historic honky-tonks, our brands are built on bold experiences, strong identity, and constant movement. We are looking for a designer who can match that energy and elevate it.

Position Overview:

We are hiring a skilled, experienced Graphic Designer to support all CHG properties. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who understands design at a professional level—someone who can think creatively, execute efficiently, and manage multiple projects without hand-holding.

You will be responsible for creating a wide range of assets including social media graphics, event flyers, posters, banners, signage, in-house marketing materials, and more. Every design should be intentional, on-brand, and built to perform.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design high-impact graphics for:
  • Social media campaigns
  • Concert & event promotions
  • Large-scale banners & signage
  • In-venue marketing materials (menus, table tents, posters)
  • Digital ads and email graphics
  • Maintain and evolve brand consistency across multiple concepts
  • Work closely with marketing to execute campaigns quickly and effectively
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines across several brands simultaneously
  • Prepare print-ready files and understand production specs (bleeds, sizing, materials, etc.)
  • Contribute creative ideas—not just execute tasks

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in graphic design (hospitality, events, nightlife, or entertainment preferred)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of work (social, print, large-format, branding)
  • Deep understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to design for both digital and print with attention to detail
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage your own workflow
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Someone who is both creative and strategic—designs should look good and drive action

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience with print production and file setup
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
  • Strong communication and time management skills

Important Notes:

  • This is not a Canva/template-based role.
  • Use of AI-generated design is not permitted.
  • We are looking for original, thoughtful, and brand-driven creative work.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Part-Time: ~15 hours per week
  • Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)

To Apply:

Please submit:

  • Your resume
  • A link to your portfolio (required)
  • A brief note on why you’re a good fit for this role
