Graphic Designer – Prints & Packaging (Intimate Apparel / Sleepwear)

About the Role

Not A Morning Person is seeking a Graphic Designer with strong experience creating original prints and patterns for women’s intimate apparel, sleepwear, and loungewear, along with retail packaging design.

This role is ideal for someone who can take trend inspiration and translate it into commercially viable prints and graphics that perform at retail. You will work closely with our design and production teams to develop original artwork used across apparel collections and packaging programs for major U.S. retailers.

Responsibilities

  • Create original print artwork and repeat patterns for intimate apparel, sleepwear, and loungewear
  • Develop all-over prints, placement graphics, and seasonal print stories
  • Prepare production-ready artwork files for overseas factories
  • Design retail packaging, including belly bands, boxes, hangtags, labels, and inserts
  • Collaborate with the design team on seasonal color palettes and print direction
  • Ensure artwork meets factory printing requirements and technical specifications
  • Revise graphics based on buyer feedback and product development needs
  • Maintain an organized library of prints and graphic assets

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in graphic design within fashion, apparel, or textiles
  • Experience creating original prints and pattern repeats
  • Experience designing retail packaging for apparel products
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of color, pattern repeat construction, and textile printing
  • Ability to create trend-right artwork with strong commercial appeal

Preferred

  • Experience in intimate apparel, sleepwear, or women’s fashion
  • Experience working with overseas factories

Not A Morning Person specializes in the manufacturing and import of ladies’ and girls’ basics, intimate apparel, sleepwear, and loungewear. We develop product for major U.S. retailers across department stores, clubs, specialty retailers, and off-price channels, managing product from concept through production.
