Graphic Designer – Product Customization

Bear Rootz is hiring a full-time, on-site Production Graphic Designer for our Las Vegas office.

This role is focused on creating custom-branded product visuals, product mockups, marketing assets, and sales materials for a B2B hardware company. The right person has a strong design eye, moves quickly, understands clean product presentation, and is comfortable working across Adobe design files, product templates, digital assets, basic 3D/rendering workflows, and AI-assisted visual tools.

The main priority is product customization design. You'll take client logos, colors, brand direction, and product templates and turn them into clean, professional mockups for items like batteries, cartridges, disposables, and related hardware. Some projects are simple color/logo applications. Others require more creative judgment when the client has limited assets, unclear direction, or needs help making the concept look polished.

This is a good fit for someone who enjoys practical, fast-moving design work – not just one-off “big idea” branding projects. We need someone who can produce clean visual assets consistently, stay organized, and help make custom products look sharp before they go to production or client review.

What You'll Do

• Create custom-branded product mockups using client logos, colors, design direction, and existing product templates
• Apply branding to product visuals, including logo placement, body colors, tip colors, finishes, patterns, and simple layout variations
• Help improve weak or incomplete client design direction into cleaner, more professional product concepts
• Create digital and print-ready marketing assets, including sell sheets, product packets, flyers, website graphics, blog images, email graphics, and product images
• Support sales and marketing with client-facing visuals, product presentations, and branded asset requests
• Work with existing 3D model files or render assets at a basic level when needed
• Change colors/materials, place logos, set up simple product scenes, and export clean render-style visuals when applicable
• Use AI image generation and AI-assisted tools to support product imagery, backgrounds, concept exploration, and marketing visuals
• Keep design files organized and prepare clean assets for internal review, client review, and production handoff
• Balance speed, accuracy, and visual quality across multiple design requests

What We're Looking For

• Strong graphic design skills with a clean, modern visual eye
• Experience creating product mockups, branded product visuals, packaging-style concepts, merchandise mockups, or similar production design work
• Strong understanding of color, spacing, layout, proportion, and logo placement
• Comfortable working quickly while still paying attention to small details
• Able to follow direction, but also make smart design decisions when direction is incomplete
• Professional comfort with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Organized file management and clean design handoff habits
• Comfortable learning new creative tools, including AI and basic 3D/rendering workflows
• Interest in AI image generation and modern creative production workflows
• Able to work full-time, on-site in Las Vegas

We care more about your actual work, taste, speed, and problem-solving ability than the exact software you use. That said, this is a professional design role, so applicants should be comfortable working beyond basic template tools like Canva.

• Your design experience is mostly Canva templates
• You only want to design social media graphics
• You are not comfortable working with product mockups or branded product visuals
• You avoid learning new tools
• You need every project to come with perfect assets and exact creative direction

Requirements

• Portfolio or examples of design work required
• Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills
• Full-time availability (Monday-Friday)
• Ability to work on-site in Las Vegas
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working with vape hardware and related product visuals

Nice to Have

• Experience with product customization, packaging, branded merchandise, or hardware mockups
• Basic experience opening, adjusting, or rendering 3D product files
• Experience using AI image generation tools for product or marketing visuals
• Experience creating B2B sales sheets, catalogs, product packets, or client-facing presentations
