Graphic Designer Product Illustrator Custom Toy Art and Printing

Graphic Designer Product Illustrator Custom Toy Art and Printing

This is not a boring design job.
This is a make cool stuff every day job.

We’re a small, high energy company building custom LEGO minifigures and parts. We’re looking for someone creative, hands-on, and obsessed with turning ideas into real, physical products.

What Makes This Different

You won’t just sit behind a screen designing. You’ll design it
 then actually make it.

Who You Are

  • You have experience with vector art (especially using Adobe Illustrator)
  • You have your own artistic style and inspiration (not just copying trends)
  • You enjoy coming up with fun, clever, or badass ideas
  • You’re into things like:
  • Star Wars (huge plus)
  • Video games (Call of Duty, Halo, FPS Shooters etc)
  • You like working with your hands, not just designing digitally
  • You take pride in high quality work

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take an idea and bring it all the way to a finished product:

  • Design custom graphics for LEGO minifigures and parts
  • Prepare print ready artwork
  • Make printing plates
  • Mix inks (dialing in colors exactly right)
  • Prep parts for printing
  • Pad print the designs onto parts
  • Assemble finished products
  • Package items when needed
  • Take product photos for listings
  • Shoot content/photos for social media

You’ll have a lot of creative control.

If you have a cool idea:

  • Run it by me for approval
  • Then go execute it

I’ll give you everything you need tools, materials, systems to turn your ideas into products.

There will also be a mix of my ideas in the pipeline, but a big part of this role is you bringing new ideas to the table.

Real Talk

  • The printing process can be repetitive at times
  • BUT we don’t run massive batches, so you won’t be stuck doing the same thing all day
  • There’s constant variety between designing, printing, building, and shooting content

The Environment

  • Small team
  • High energy
  • Very creative space
  • Lots of freedom, lots of ownership

If you like the idea of:

  • Designing something in the morning
  • Holding the finished product in your hand that same week

you’ll fit right in.

If you've read this far, I highly suggest you check out our website and look at some of our current/past products to see what you would be doing! And to be clear, I want this role to be someone who can do even wackier ideas! Have an idea for a cool grafitti, let's print it on a minifigure and see how it looks! Have an idea for a crazy T shirt that we think would look good on a LEGO figure, let's try it! Have some crazy designer pattern let's give it a shot!
