Graphic Designer / Production Artist

Job Overview

Next Step Graphics & Signs in Cleveland, GA is seeking a Graphic Designer/Production Specialist with experience in large format production, vinyl graphics, and Adobe design software.

Duties

• Create and prepare concept artwork for signage, vinyl graphics, and large-format printing
• Manage print production processes from file setup to final output, including layout design, sign manufacturing specifications, and quality control.
• Prepare files for vinyl cutters, large-format printers, and production equipment.
• Inspect artwork and files before printing or cutting to ensure accuracy
• Maintain organized digital files and production records

Skills

• Adobe Illustrator (required)
• Adobe Creative Suite & CorelDRAW
• Graphic design & layout skills
• Knowledge of color theory, color management, typography, layout design, and typesetting principles relevant to signage.
• Ability to incorporate branding strategies into visual designs while maintaining consistency across multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Sign shop or sign manufacturing experience
• Experience with large format printing

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
