Graphic Designer - PT

Great Parks is seeking a motivated, creative part-time Graphic Designer to join our award-winning Marketing and Brand Strategy team. This position will be responsible for creating visual content that aligns with our brand and communicates our mission to protect nature and inspire communities to explore, learn and care for the outdoors.

As a part-time Graphic Designer for Great Parks, you will work closely with our Marketing team on various projects to enhance the visual identity and impact of Great Parks initiatives. This position offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment where you will contribute to developing marketing materials, digital content, and promotional assets that support our agency’s goals.

This is an on-site, part-time position (15/hours a week) that will primarily work at the Great Parks’ Winton Center and report to the Creative Director.

The successful candidate will perform the following responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating visually engaging graphics and layouts for print and digital media, including flyers, banners, signage, and social media content.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and marketing team members to brainstorm and develop creative concepts that align with Great Parks’ brand and project goals.
  • Support the Marketing Department with tasks such as image editing, layout adjustments, and file preparation for production.
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining design standards and brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input on design strategies, project timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining department standards.
  • Positively represent Great Parks.
  • Assist with special events and other tasks as assigned by the Creative Director.
  • Accountable to uphold, demonstrate, and promote positive and respectful interdependent working relationships across the division and organization.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, openness to change, and a willingness to collaborate as needed to advance the mission of Great Parks.
  • Perform job duties in accordance with Great Parks of Hamilton County’s policies, procedures and performance expectations.
  • Work assigned schedule and exhibit regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field is required 2 years of experience working in brand development, art design, and graphic design, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in creating visual content across all marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, mobile, and print.
  • Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop software and content management system is required, as well as a fundamental understanding of color separations and fonts.
  • Must be able to work from our Winton Woods location.

License of Certification Requirements

  • State Motor Vehicle Operators License which meets Great Parks’ current guidelines.
