Graphic Designer & Social Media Marketer

Description:

H&H Color Lab is seeking an in-house Graphic Designer and Social Media Marketer to work in our internal marketing and design department. You will be working in a small team where each player handles multiple responsibilities.

The main focus of this position will be on creating marketing pieces for both print and digital use, designing and sending marketing emails, designing and posting graphics to various social media sites, as well as working on a variety of design projects that may include company newsletter, website management, copy text, content marketing, magazine ads, brochures, and more! This position will also have crossover with production design.

The most important skills for this position are organization, attention to detail, and technical aptitude. Knowledge of the photographic industry and a familiarity with html are a plus but not required. This position works normal business hours at our facility located in Raytown, MO.

Pay: $23-28 per hour

• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Have a strong eye for visual composition
• Possess effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Be able to give and receive constructive criticism
• Have an understanding of marketing, social media, production, website design, corporate branding identity, advertisements, and multimedia design
• Experience with photo and video editing for digital and social marketing use
• Ability to develop and write content marketing
• Ability to learn H&H internal ordering software systems

Requirements:

Necessary skills:

• Computer fluency in Mac and PC - This position will primarily use a Mac but will also have access to a virtual PC for lab-specific software
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles

Software proficiency:

• Current versions of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Bridge
• Familiarity with stock graphic sites is a plus
• Office software such as Outlook, Word, Excel
• Proficiency in WordPress
