Graphic Designer & Social Media Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Social Media Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling visual content, managing our brand presence across social media platforms, and ensuring our profiles are fully optimized to attract and engage our target audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Profile Optimization: Audit, design, and maintain all social media profile pages including bios, cover photos, profile pictures, highlights, and link-in-bio setups to ensure brand consistency and discoverability.
  • Content Creation: Design high-quality graphics, banners, reels thumbnails, stories, infographics, and promotional visuals tailored for each platform (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter, etc.).
  • Content Scheduling: Plan, schedule, and publish content using social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite) to maintain a consistent and strategic posting calendar.
  • Social Media Posting: Execute daily/weekly posts across all platforms, ensuring correct formatting, captions, hashtags, and tagging best practices are followed.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze post performance data, identify trends, and refine content strategy to improve reach, engagement, and follower growth.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual content adheres to brand guidelines including color schemes, typography, tone, and messaging across all channels.
  • Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to design graphics for promotional campaigns, product launches, events, and paid ads.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with platform algorithm changes, design trends, and competitor activity to keep content fresh and competitive.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio of social media work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and/or Canva Pro
  • Hands-on experience with social media management and scheduling tools
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and content best practices
  • Strong eye for design, color theory, typography, and visual storytelling
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles as applied to social media profiles
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to take direction

Nice to Have

  • Experience with short-form video editing (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools (Meta Insights, Sprout Social, Google Analytics)
  • Knowledge of paid social advertising and ad creative design
  • Photography or videography skills
  • Experience managing multiple brand accounts simultaneously
