About the Role

WrapJax is seeking a talented Graphic Designer with a strong eye for design to join our in-office team in Tacoma. This position focuses on creating custom vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, and wide-format print projects for customers across all WrapJax locations.

As AI-generated artwork becomes increasingly common, the ideal candidate will be comfortable working with customer-supplied AI concepts and artwork. This includes refining, improving, adapting, and transforming AI-generated ideas into professionally designed, production-ready graphics that meet WrapJax quality standards.

• This is a highly customer-interactive role. Successful designers at WrapJax enjoy working directly with customers, asking questions, presenting concepts, gathering feedback, and guiding projects from initial idea through final installation.

Responsibilities

• Design custom vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, and large-format print projects
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to bring concepts to life
• Refine and enhance customer-provided AI-generated artwork and concepts
• Translate customer ideas into visually compelling and production-ready designs
• Prepare print-ready files for production and installation
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout the design process
• Work closely with sales and production teams to ensure successful project execution

What We’re Looking For

• Strong design skills, including layout, color theory, typography, and composition
• Ability to adapt quickly and pivot between projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive, solution-focused attitude
• Experience designing vehicle wraps or wide-format graphics preferred, but not required
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
• Comfortable utilizing and editing AI-generated artwork while applying professional design judgment and creativity

Compensation

Compensation is based on the applicant’s level of experience, as well as the quality, creativity, accuracy, and timeliness of their design work.
