Graphic design
- Create visual concepts for a wide range of marketing materials, including websites, social media posts, ads, presentations, and print collateral like brochures and banners.
- Develop and maintain a brand's visual identity, including logos, typography, colour palettes, and overall design consistency.
- Design eye-catching visuals that align with campaign strategies and enhance the brand's messaging.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to deliver effective visual solutions.
- Stay current with design trends and implement innovative ideas to keep the brand's visual appeal fresh and relevant.
Video editing
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, engaging content for various digital platforms, including YouTube, social media, and websites.
- Incorporate visual effects, motion graphics, music, sound effects, and animations to enhance video storytelling.
- Maintain a consistent and high-quality standard across all video productions.
- Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring they are correctly formatted and encoded.
- Organize and maintain a library of video assets for future use
Key skills and qualifications
- Software proficiency: Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. Added advantage Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Figma, Canva, And Cap Cut can also be beneficial.
- Creative vision: The ability to translate marketing objectives into visually compelling designs and effective video narratives.
- Technical expertise: A strong understanding of graphic design principles (typography, color theory, layout) and video editing techniques (storyboarding, sequencing, color grading).
- Time management: The ability to work efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet tight deadlines.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills for effectively working with other creative team members and incorporating feedback.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio is essential for showcasing a proven track record of creative and technical abilities in both graphic design and video editing.
