Job Description

Upod is looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our in-house content team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing high-quality video content including podcasts, social media reels, promotional videos, and branded content for multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form and short-form videos using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Create motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects using After Effects
• Edit social media content using CapCut for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Collaborate with producers, videographers, and content strategists to deliver engaging content
• Apply basic color correction, sound sync, and visual enhancements
• Incorporate infographics, captions, and on-screen elements where required
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Working knowledge of After Effects
• Experience using CapCut
• Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve is a plus
• Knowledge of infographics and motion graphics is an advantage
• Understanding of social media formats, aspect ratios, and trends
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing podcast content
• Knowledge of YouTube, Instagram Reels, and TikTok best practices
• Strong attention to detail and storytelling skills
