Graphic Designer / Web Designer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Front-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate combines strong front-end development abilities with hands-on experience working within WordPress and modern design tools. This role involves building responsive user interfaces, implementing clean code, optimizing website performance, and ensuring seamless functionality across all digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, high-quality website layouts and user interfaces.
• Use Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD/Figma to interpret design assets into front-end code.
• Convert mockups and wireframes into functional web pages using HTML and JavaScript.
• Build, update, and maintain websites using WordPress, including themes, page templates, and media assets.
• Customize and enhance front-end functionality using WordPress plugins such as Elementor, SEO plugins, and MPG.
• Work directly within WordPress core files and server directories to make code-level updates when needed.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and developers to ensure consistency in branding and user experience.
• Follow accessibility standards, SEO best practices, and performance optimization guidelines.
• Troubleshoot front-end issues and provide ongoing website support.
• Communicate clearly with team members and clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD/Figma.
• Solid understanding of HTML and JavaScript, including responsive layout best practices.
• Experience working with WordPress, including theme customization and site maintenance.
• Familiarity with WordPress plugins such as Elementor, SEO tools, and MPG (Mass Page Generator).
• Ability to work within WordPress file structures and server-level directories.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to translate design concepts into clean, functional front-end solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing accessibility standards and SEO best practices.
• Understanding of UX principles and wireframing workflows.
• Basic knowledge of CSS for layout and styling adjustments.
• Experience optimizing images, assets, and site performance.

Education and Experience

• Degree or certification in Web Development, Computer Science, Web Design, or commensurate related experience.
• 1-3 years of front-end development experience, or a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.

Pay: $47,970.00 - $57,720.00 per year
