Graphic Designer/Digital Press Operator

Overview
We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer/Digital Press Operator to join our creative team. This role combines the art of visual communication with technical expertise in the digital printing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, digital art, and production design, with proficiency in industry-standard software and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for creating compelling visual content, managing print projects, and being involved in Print Production including operation of digital presses and bindery equipment. Responsibilities

• Develop innovative visual concepts for branding, marketing campaigns, and digital media using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and CorelDRAW
• Design logos, typography, layouts, and illustrations that align with client or company branding guidelines
• Create motion graphics and video content utilizing Adobe After Effects and video editing software
• Prepare print-ready files for digital press production, ensuring accurate color management and layout design
• Operate digital printing equipment efficiently, maintaining quality standards throughout the production process
• Manage photo manipulation, photo editing, and digital art projects for various applications including signage and advertising materials
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop content for websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems
• Ensure consistency in visual design across all platforms by applying principles of color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy
• Maintain organized project files and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Conduct quality control checks on printed materials to ensure color accuracy and overall quality

Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong knowledge of graphic design principles including layout design, typesetting, color management, and typography
• Experience with digital art creation, illustration, photo manipulation, and content management systems like WordPress
• Skills in UI/UX design using tools such as Figma or InVision for web and app interfaces
• Ability to operate digital press equipment with precision to produce high-quality print materials such as paper pritning, signage and print advertising
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for web design projects; understanding of web development fundamentals is a plus
• Excellent presentation skills to communicate ideas effectively to clients or team members
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Creative mindset with a passion for innovation in visual storytelling and branding strategies

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
