Graphic Designer/Production Assistant

We are looking for a graphic designer join our small team to create engaging graphics and wraps for a variety of mediums, including all types of vehicles and occasionally storefronts, walls and other surfaces.

This role will be responsible for meeting with customers, identifying design and budget requirements for a variety of projects, putting together quotes and mock-ups for the designs and for final output, printing and production of approved graphics. They will also be responsible for scheduling the installation and for communicating with the customer all the way through the process, and communicating with installers throughout the process. We are looking for someone who has experience in designing and quoting custom decal jobs, partial wraps and full wraps on a variety of different vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers in person, over the phone or via email to determine requirements
• Conceptualize mock-ups and quotes based on design and budget requirements
• Work with customers on design changes until artwork is approved
• Communicate with customers to take payment for projects and schedule installs
• Work with installers to ensure output files are set up optimally for installers
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are high quality, spelling and colors are correct and output files are saved and formatted correctly
• Assist with running our large format printer and RIP software to print out final graphics
• Assist with laminating, cutting, weeding and masking graphics and wraps as needed to prepare for installation
• Work with customers to arrange installation, vehicle drop-offs/pick-ups and ensure customers are satisfied with final product

Skills

• Proven graphic designing experience in the vehicle wrap space
• A strong portfolio of custom vehicle graphics
• Expertise with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Experience with large format printing and Caldera or other RIP software is a plus
• Experience with vehicle graphics production such as laminating, cutting, weeding and masking is a plus
• Knowledge of vehicle wrap installation is a huge plus
• No degree required.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
