Graphic Designer/Production Specialist

BDI Signs and Graphic Design is looking for a Graphic Designer/Production Specialist to join our small dynamic team.
Responsibilities

• Partner with our customers to design signage solutions and bring brand collateral to life for our clients
• Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software
• Perform retouching and manipulation of images to align with production requirements
• Develop expertise across all BDI job functions: design, print, production, installation, customer relationship management etc.
• Independently organize and prioritize work for yourself and supporting team members across multiple work streams
• Support administrative tasks related to your projects including shop orders, invoicing and customer billing
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule with high quality and in alignment with the customer’s budget
• Become a trusted partner for our new and existing customers

Qualifications

• Degree in graphic arts, design or related field. Several years of work experience in graphic design is desired but not required
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
• Experience working with Adobe Illustrator and other graphic design software in the PC compatible environment
• Strong analytical skills
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Self Starter able to multitask and independently work with customers to drive projects forward
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
