Graphic Designer/Sign Production Assistant

Job Summary
FASTSIGNS® Main Line has an immediate opening for a Graphic Designer/Sign Production Assistant. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented person to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, producing, and installing various types of signage that meet client specifications. This role requires a blend of artistic skills and technical knowledge to create visually appealing and functional signs that effectively communicate messages.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients and customer service rep to understand their signage needs and preferences.
• Create layout designs for signs using Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
• Illustrate concepts and produce high-quality graphics for various types of signage, including banners, posters, directional signs, ADA signs.
• Utilize production design techniques to ensure the durability and effectiveness of signs.
• Operate sign manufacturing equipment, including wide format printers, vinyl plotters, laminators, CNC router and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Prepare files for printing and manage the production process from start to finish.
• Assist in installations of signage at client locations, ensuring proper placement and adherence to specifications.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies relevant to sign making.

Experience

• Proficiency in layout design, production design, and sign manufacturing processes is essential.
• Strong skills in sketching concepts will aid in initial design discussions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
