Graphic Designer/Video Editor

Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented creative professional with expertise in Video Editing and Desktop Publishing/Graphic Design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing professional video content, designing and typesetting books and publications, and creating engaging print and digital graphics. This role requires strong storytelling ability, technical proficiency in industry-standard design and editing software, and a keen eye for detail and visual presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media, campaigns, websites, and digital platforms.
• Typeset and format books, reports, and long-form documents to professional publishing standards.
• Design posters, flyers, promotional materials, and visual assets aligned with brand identity.
• Add graphics, captions, sound, motion elements, and visual enhancements to multimedia content.
• Prepare print-ready and digital-ready files for publishers, printers, and online distribution.
• Collaborate with creative teams, editors, and project managers to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
• Maintain templates, style guides, and visual standards while meeting project deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Video Editing, Graphic Design, Desktop Publishing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout design, visual storytelling, and audience engagement.
• Knowledge of sound editing, colour correction, motion graphics, and print production processes.
• Excellent creativity, attention to detail, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating short-form social media content and long-document publications.
• Familiarity with publishing, pre-press, and print production requirements.
• Ability to contribute creative concepts and innovative visual ideas during project planning.
