DISTRITO T-Mobile is Puerto Rico and the Caribbean’s premier entertainment destination, combining the best in dining, art, entertainment, music, technology, and hospitality. The project includes the 177-room Aloft San Juan hotel, the 6,000-spectator Coca-Cola Music Hall, an 8-screen VIP cinema by Caribbean Cinemas, TOROVERDE Urban Park, including Puerto Rico’s only urban zip-line attraction, and over 10 bars, lounges, fast casual eateries, full-service restaurants, attractions, and other entertainment experiences. The project is centered around a 50,000 square foot plaza with a fully digitized 14,500- foot stage system with 19 LED screens, incorporating 19 million pixels, providing 360 experiences to visitors.

Position Overview:

At DISTRITO T-Mobile, we are looking for a highly creative Graphic & Digital Designer who can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations, digital campaigns and assets across the customer journey booth in print and digital media. Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process from concept to the final deliverable.

The Graphic Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping how we tell our story visually. In this role, you’ll craft impactful experiences across web, mobile, social, and marketing channels. Working closely with the Brand & Creative Manager, you’ll guide digital design execution, ensure brand consistency, and develop scalable design systems that strengthen our campaigns and customer storytelling.

You’ll collaborate directly with various marketing, communications, and sales teams to make sure design effectively drives engagement and business outcomes. You should be comfortable transforming written or spoken ideas into compelling visual concepts that connect with our brand’s message and audience. A deep understanding of branding, marketing, and digital storytelling is essential. In addition, the candidate should have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Partner with department heads to align initiatives with company mission, long-term growth and accomplish individual goals and objectives.

2. Work on a wide range of projects, using various software to develop graphic designs that meet project goals

3. Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video

4. Work collaboratively on multiple projects, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects

5. Develop illustrations, logos and other designs

6. Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize for a wide range of materials that may include presentations, signage, website revisions, internal communications collateral, newsletters, social media content, email templates, campaign KVs, display ads, landing pages, other marketing materials and interactive experiences.

7. Translate creative and business strategies into high-quality design, compelling digital assets and user experiences within an established brand identity.

8. Identify opportunities to innovate, including the use of animation, motion graphics, and emerging design technologies (AI and others)

9. Execute original content determining ideal usage of brand guidelines such as color, t text, font style, imagery, and layout

10. Capture and edit photography for digital platforms implementing special effects, motion graphics, and compositing when needed

11. Design visual experiences for DISTRITO T-Mobile’s website landing pages.

12. Collaborate across the business to solve complex problems with elegant and always on-brand solutions and stunning visual assets

13. Bring new and innovative ideas to improve the overall user experience while also providing necessary maintenance of existing assets and site

14. Support content production on location at events and video shoots

15. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines with creative excellence.

16. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.

17. Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline

2. 3+ years of proven professional experience in graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency or entertainment venue, and a portfolio that demonstrates visual skills, capacity for conceptual thinking

3. Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills

4. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, bilingual (Spanish/English).

5. Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

6. Solid grasp of graphic, web, and typographic design principles and a good understanding of current web technologies.

7. Experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro) and PowerPoint. Animation skills and knowledge of AI design related platforms are a must.

8. Experience and proficiency with photo-editing software.

9. Experience in shooting and editing short-form videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok’s, YouTube Shorts, etc.).

10. Strong conceptual thinking and design skills with great attention to detail.

11. Awareness of current trends, industry competitors, and design styles
