OVERVIEW

Signarama is a one-stop shop for all your sign needs, with different projects happening every day.

We are seeking a dependable Production Artist to join our team. No experience needed. We will provide training for the right individual. This individual will be responsible for operating the machines and collaborating with colleagues to successfully complete projects. If you enjoy working with your hands and seeing your designs around the Los Angeles County, then Signarama would be a perfect fit for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Capable of interpreting and understanding printing specifications, job orders, and layout designs.

● Ability to create mockups and present them to clients for review, approval, and modifications.

● Must possess a solid understanding of technical skills and demonstrate a willingness to acquire proficiency in various vector based and design software such as Photoshop, and Illustrator.

● Properly load materials and operate wide-format printers and plotters to print and cut vinyl graphics.

● Maintain supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies.

● Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop alongside the company while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.

● Assist senior sign technician in installation and fabrication as needed.

DESIRED QUALITIES

● Team player, detailed oriented, good organization, problem solving and multitasking skills.

● Proficiency using an X-Acto knife, tape measure, ruler, weed, mask vinyl graphics and production tools efficiently and safely.

● Physical expectation: occasional lifting of objects weighing over 30 pounds.
