Graphic / Video Design Artist (Junior)

Role Overview

The Graphic / Video Design Artist (Junior) will support program communication and outreach by creating high-quality visual assets for reports, dashboards, presentations, digital campaigns, and promotional materials. The role works closely with creative, digital, and program teams to ensure consistent branding, clarity, and visual impact across all initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Visual Communication

• Design graphics, infographics, and presentations for program reports, dashboards, and policy documents
• Create visual assets for web, social media, and digital campaigns
• Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and visual standards

Video Editing & Multimedia

• Edit short videos, reels, and visual explainers for program promotion and internal communications
• Assist in creating motion graphics or animated visuals where required
• Optimize video formats for different digital platforms

Creative Collaboration

• Collaborate with program, research, and digital marketing teams to conceptualize creative solutions
• Translate complex data and policy insights into clear, engaging visuals
• Support creative requirements for events, workshops, and stakeholder engagements

Asset Management

• Maintain and organize a library of creative assets for ongoing and future use
• Ensure version control and easy retrieval of design files

Key Deliverables

• Graphic and creative assets for digital and offline use
• Infographics and visual dashboards for program reports
• Short video edits and promotional materials
• Branded templates and presentation decks

Qualifications

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Design, Fine Arts, Animation, Multimedia, or a related field

Portfolio

• Portfolio showcasing graphic design and multimedia work is mandatory

Experience & Skill Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, or similar tools
• Basic to intermediate video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent
• Strong sense of visual design, layout, typography, and color
• Attention to detail and ability to follow branding guidelines
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a consulting and government-program environment
