Job Title: Video Editor

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient Video Editor to join our production team. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into high-quality, engaging visual stories that resonate with our audience across digital, social, and broadcast platforms. The ideal candidate has a "director’s eye" for pacing, a deep understanding of platform-specific trends (Reels, TikTok, YouTube, and long-form), and the ability to integrate motion graphics and AI tools to streamline production.
Key Responsibilities
- Post-Production Leadership: Manage the end-to-end editing process, including ingestion, rough cuts, final assembly, color grading, and sound mixing.
- Narrative Storytelling: Craft compelling stories from raw interviews, B-roll, and archival footage, ensuring logical flow and emotional impact.
- Platform Optimization: Re-version and optimize content for various social platforms, ensuring correct aspect ratios, captioning styles, and engagement hooks.
- Motion Graphics & VFX: Design and implement basic to intermediate motion graphics (lower thirds, title sequences) and visual effects using After Effects.
- Audio Post-Production: Clean up dialogue, select music tracks, and perform sound design/mixing to enhance the viewer experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with directors and producers to understand the project's vision; take constructive feedback and iterate quickly.
- Asset Management: Maintain a clean, organized digital library of project files, raw assets, and deliverables.
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Design Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
- AI Tool Integration: Familiarity with AI-driven editing tools (e.g., automated transcription, AI-assisted masking, or generative fill) to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Color & Sound: Solid understanding of color correction (LUTs, grading) and audio leveling standards.
- Education/Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in an agency, studio, or corporate environment. A degree in Film, Media, or a related field is preferred but not required with a strong portfolio.
- Portfolio: A diverse showreel demonstrating mastery of pacing, transitions, and storytelling.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
