This is an in-person, local, job opportunity in Monroe, CT
Responsibilities
Create high quality, compelling work for our clients, including:
o Logos
o Branded Material (stationery, brand manuals)
o Print Collateral (fliers, brochures, mailers, annual reports, etc.)
o Signage & banners
o Video graphics (splash screens, lower 3rds, etc.)
o Social media graphics + templates in Canva
o Eblasts / email marketing
o Special projects (swag, trade show booths, etc.)
o Gala / special event materials (event graphics, invitations, landing pages, signage, etc.)
Webmaster / Web Designer
- Work with programmers to manage hosting accounts
- Help clients to purchase and manage domains
- Craft sitemaps & design information architecture
- Scope out functionality, identify & implement necessary technology
- Build attractive, functional & user-friendly websites
- Manage programmers and outside vendors as needed
- Integrate 3rd party technology into sites as needed, (work with programmers if necessary)
- Work with programmers to ensure website stability and security for maintenance plan clients
- Update website content as needed
General
- Keep abreast of design and AI trends
- Ability to utilize AI
- Keep abreast of new innovations in the field of design, including new techniques and software
- Identify and advocate design best practices
- Scope, spec and provide cost estimates for design projects, including print pieces, and special projects
- Identify and manage outside vendors for print & special projects (traditional print, signage, swag, trade show booths, etc.)
- Create proposals and other presentation materials
- Organize and manage design assets, tools and materials; including fonts, purchased stock art, artwork for client projects, supplies, paper samples, samples of client work, color swatch books, swag catalogs, etc.
- Set up and manage accounts for purchase of stock art, fonts, AI, and other design assets & services
- Uphold brand standards for clients across all media
Requirements
o 3 – 5 years graphic design experience preferred
o Adobe Creative Cloud experience a must (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
o Canva
o Basic AI skills, especially for image generation
o Motion graphics a plus
o Wordpress experience a plus (WPBakery and Elementor page builders + Slider Revolution)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
