Graphics Designer

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Often a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (though experience can sometimes substitute).
• Technical Proficiency (Software Mastery):
• Expert-level knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Proficiency in other relevant design and prototyping tools like Figma or Sketch (especially for digital/web roles).
• Portfolio: A strong, professional portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skill, and successful solutions for a variety of projects.
• Design Fundamentals:
• Deep understanding of typography, color theory, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Knowledge of print production processes or responsive web design/UX/UI principles (depending on the role).
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
