Temporary Graphic Designer – Political Campaign (Contract)

About the Role

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Temporary Graphic Designer to support our political campaign’s communications and branding needs. The ideal candidate can work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deadlines, and produce visually compelling content consistent with campaign messaging and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Design digital and print materials, including social media graphics, flyers, mailers, posters, web banners, and email assets
• Adapt content for multiple platforms while maintaining brand consistency
• Collaborate with the communications and field teams to meet design needs on tight deadlines
• Prepare artwork files optimized for print and digital distribution
• Incorporate feedback quickly and accurately

Qualifications

• Proven experience in graphic design (portfolio required)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools
• Ability to work under pressure and adjust to evolving priorities
• Strong understanding of layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy
• Experience with political or advocacy work is a plus, but not required

Work Environment

• Flexible hours; some evenings or weekend work may be required during peak times
• Remote work available, with occasional in-person meetings depending on campaign needs
