Graphics Designer / Production Specialist

FASTSIGNS of Mentor is seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual willing to learn the sign industry. FASTSIGNS creates wall graphics, window graphics, banners, event booths, posters, vehicle wraps, and custom signs.

Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with computer generated vinyl and/or full color graphics output that can be weeded, cut, and applied or printed and mounted to cars or substrates with experience making independent decisions in line with the company mission of OUTSTANDING service and installation.

Graphic Designer needs to be positive and self-motivated team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Our goal is to deliver the best possible products to our clients, so designers need to take a high level of pride in their work and attention to detail is a must. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics
• Use wide format printer and plotter to output vinyl products
• Mount vinyl or full color graphic images on substrates
• Work on different projects simultaneously
• Unload materials and maintain storage areas
• Maintain a clean an organized workspace
• Report inventory levels and materials
• Follow company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a graphic designer or sign-related computer operator
• Advanced level of experience using Adobe Illustrator and Creative Cloud
• Strong Windows, networking, and email knowledge and skills
• Professional, upbeat, positive attitude, and respectful of others
• Ability to provide high quality detailed work under pressure
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
• Basic math skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Undergraduate education
• Ability to work in a busy environment and adapt quickly to changing situations

REQUIREMENTS

• High school or GED required

Hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday - Friday

This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchisee. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
