Overview
We are an apparel brand seeking a skilled and creative Graphic Designer to help develop original designs for hats, koozies, and apparel. This role is ideal for a designer with strong apparel experience who understands both creative design and production-ready artwork. The designer may use AI tools to assist in the creative process, but must be able to refine and finalize designs professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Create original, production-ready designs for:
  • Hats
  • Koozies
  • T-shirts, hoodies and other apparel items
  • Prepare artwork specifically for apparel decoration methods
  • Use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to build, refine, and finalize designs
  • Ensure designs are properly set up for printing and embroidery
  • Work with CMYK color modes and printing limitations
  • Collaborate to iterate on designs based on feedback
  • Organize and deliver clean, properly labeled source files

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in apparel graphic design
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Understanding of CMYK printing and color separation
  • Experience with Direct to Film (DTF) printing workflows
  • Ability to create print-ready and production-friendly artwork
  • Strong attention to detail and file setup accuracy

Preferred (Plus) Skills

  • Embroidery design and/or digitizing experience
  • Knowledge of UV printing processes
  • Familiarity with hat design and placement constraints
  • Experience using AI tools to assist in concept generation or design workflows

Additional Notes

  • Designer must understand real-world production constraints, not just visual design
  • AI-assisted designs must be original and editable
  • Experience in apparel branding or merchandise design is highly valued
